Ostrich Marabou is a very versatile fly tying material for your tying bench. For salmon and steelhead flies it can be tied in as a collar, tail, or even palmered on the fly. It is excellent for tails on woolly buggers and any streamer where you would usually use turkey marabou.

Individual fibers can be pulled off the stem making extremely lifelike tails for damselfly nymphs, or gills on other nymph patterns.
