Grand Max is one of the strongest flurocarbon around. It is practically invisible in water, they sink readily without treatment at about 3 times the speed of nylon.The abrasion resistance and incisibility of Grand Max ensures that fish are neither spooked nor lost.

Grand Max is slightly softer and has a higher breaking strain for diameter. It has been extensively tested and using standard knots found to knot easily and be entirely dependable.

Grand max should always be used where fish are particularly shy.

This fluorocarbon has achieved a solid reputation for performance and reliability since their introduction. All these fluorocarbons have the following in common, their refractive index is nearly the same as water, making them nearly invisible when submerged. Their breaking strains compared to diameter are exceptionally strong, they also knot well and have a high resistance to fatigue.
