Not all Mantis shrimp patterns have a large profile. This subtle little pattern was developed in the middle of the Pacific, and tweaked on multiple Bonefish destinations. This version is tied out of very soft materials so that the fly wiggles with the smallest twitch or even just the current pushing on the fly. Great for picky fish or pressured fish that tend not to take a stripped fly.

We tie our Mini Mantis in house on a Gamakatsu SL11-3H or SL45 chassis (hook), so you can hang onto that flats critter of a lifetime.
