Bream, bluegill, and sunfish are bug eaters, and like all insect-eating fish they eat 10 times as many nymphs as they do bugs floating on the surface of the water. The hen and hare is a classic hare’s ear pattern with a lot buggy soft hackle around the collar. Fish it slowly with small strips, or suspend it under a popper or foam fly.
