Start with the following guidelines for eye and hook sizes:

• Extra Small: #8 hooks and 3mm eyes
• Small: #6 hooks and 3mm eyes
• Medium: #2 hooks and 4mm eyes
• Large: #2/0 to #4/0 hooks and 6mm eyes
• Extra Large: #4/p to #6/0 hooks and 8.5mm eyes.
