We love this rod as a versatile do it all big fish stick. At 13’3″ it is still short enough to fish tight smaller rivers like the Sol Duc or other ones we have here on the op. But still has enough length to go and fish bigger rivers like the Skagit or even the Skeena. in its 5 pc design it is easy to throw in your luggage and bring with you on the plane. Enough stick to handle big steelhead and Chinook, but not too much rod for smaller summer runs, this is a great Deschutes Rod. With the classic Burkie feel, this is one to have in the quiver!
