This tool is used to maintain the tension of the parachute post by fixing it to the optional sight plate.

The post material fixed to the hook shank can be pinched with a clip and pulled up.
Once the thread has been wound up to the height required for wrapping the hackle, remove the material from the clip and wrap the thread around the base to secure it.
By winding the post taut, you can create a base that is essential for beautiful hackling with few bumps.

To attach to a vice, the optional CFT-50/Sight Plate is required.
By twisting the post material and pinching it with a clip, you can create a neater post with a thinner base.
