Atlantic salmon flies usually don’t cross over to become steelhead flies but when they do you know they are extra special. This is one of those patterns. This fly features a yellow butt. The black body and mottled wing plus Kingfisher blue hackle give this a stark contrast to the brighter butt. This can be fished as your primary searching patter or as your follow-up pattern if you miss a fish and want to come back with something smaller and darker.
