About the Authors
Ian and Charity Rutter have spent over two decades guiding anglers through the rivers and streams of the Great Smoky Mountains. Founders of R&R Fly Fishing, they are dedicated to sharing their knowledge through guiding, writing, and hosting fly fishing camps. Ian, an artist inspired by his time on the water, holds a degree in botany and zoology from the University of Tennessee. Charity, an experienced fly fisher since 1998, began guiding in 2002. The couple lives in Townsend, Tennessee, with their two children, Willow and Boone.
