The embroidery is combined with a printed layer of the image of the original artwork creating a very deep, richly colored patch. I really like the way this IRON-ON patch turned out, a very smoothly embroidered, silk-like surface. I debated making the background more of a blue, watery surface, but opted for what I feel is perhaps a more dramatic, somewhat surreal artwork. Iron it on and wade the waters.
