The Single Station Intruder is a pared down version of the original Intruder. Tied using marabou and ostrich, this fly is really swimmy. The jungle cock swims very nice and potentially placesthe focus of attack on the back of the fly, improving the quality of the hook set location in the fish’s mouth. This fly is unweighted, giving the angler the ability to fish into shallow water.

Approximately 2″ long and available in these colors:

The birth of the Intruder was in the Pacific Northwest. It has gone through many evolutions and surely it will continue to evolve, but Jerry’s Intruder as it is tied today is a fish catcher. Tied using composite loops, UV materials and a Gamakatsu trailer hook, confidence is high when using this fly.
