Weve all been there- that shallow water spot with sensitive tailing fish that spook when too bushy a fly was presented. Lets face it, at certain stages in the tide cycle, sparse flies in shallow water is more often than not the name of the game. We tied this fly specifically for Christmas Island but we have also done well with this pattern in Belize and Mexico.
